2002 Spirit of Innovation Award Won
Shark Group won the prestigious 2002 Spirit of Innovation award for the Integrated Survival Suit development, sponsored by ConocoPhillips and BP, which resulted in a number of innovative new products such as the Shark Lifejacket Air Pocket Plus (LAP) and the Variable Insulation Garment (VIG).

Jane Nolan: "Since winning the award we have been successfully establishing sales of the new products, both in the UK and in export markets including the Netherlands and Australasia. The Spirit of Innovation award was an accolade for everyone involved in the project and recognized the innovation within the company.
